The Data Protection Privacy Policy

 

Northamptonshire Law Society  (‘we’ ‘our’  or ‘us’ or NLS) recognises our  responsibility to comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU/2016/ 679 and any supplemental regulations which regulate the use of Personal Data.

 

“Personal Data” is information about individuals  which can be used alone, or combined with other information, to identify individuals  personally and can include expressions of opinion about an individual.  This does not have to be sensitive data; it can be as little as a name and address.

 

This  Privacy Policy must be read together with any other legal notices or terms and conditions available on other pages of our Website and it describes how we collect, use and otherwise handle “Personal Data” that we receive from individuals who use   our Website, correspond with us  and use  our services. It explains the circumstances in which we may transfer this data to others.
